Leprechaun Bait

Happy Friday Babes!

I will tell you what! Aside from my birthday I am not sad to see this week go. I don’t know what is in the air. So I did something fun to chase the blues away!! My 3 year old and I made leprechaun bait!! I had seen a bunch of different recipes so I decided to put my own spin on it!! Let me tell you… I must be a leprechaun because it trapped me!! Must be my Irish heritage!!

Ingredients:

(This is what I used, obviously feel free to add or take away based on your preference! I have see others use popcorn and m&ms! It’s all personal preference!! )

1/2 cereal bag of Lucky Charms

1/2 cereal bag of plain Chex Mix

5 cups pretzels

3 cups melted chocolate

Fun Green Sprinkles

Dash of powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Add all the dry goods to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Prepare a drying surface with wax paper either on your counter or a baking tray.

  3. Melt the chocolate. you have to stir continually, there’s normally heating instructions on the bag

  4. Pour melted white chocolate over your dry mixture. You will need to work fast because the chocolate does harden fast. Mix the chocolate throughout the bowl with a spatula and make sure everything is evenly coated!

  5. Once evenly coated, dump gently onto your wax paper.

  6. As it is drying cover in sprinkles!!

  7. Totally optional but I added a touch of powdered sugar to some pieces.

That’s it! It is that easy! Just wait for it to harden and put in a bowl!! Enjoy!!
