Hi!! I’m Back!!

We just moved into our house in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We have boxes everywhere still and I am up to my eyeballs in to do lists. It makes my heart happy to hear Ellie say how much she loves her new house. There are blessings all around us and we are so grateful. I miss my heart home, but we are ready for our adventure!

I have wanted to try making these wooden wreaths for a while. My mama made a beautiful one for her house, so I have been asking her for a while to make one together! This was what came from both of our brains! I wanted to do a large half wood ball wreath but the stores did not have the right wreath form. So, I found these awesome wood beads!

I also found these steel rings and these colored beads!

Step 1: My dad found a way to separate the steel rings by adding pressure on the joint. Once its separated you can start threading the wood beads on it!

Step 2: I alternated colored beads with the wood beads and kept the larger beads on half of the hoop for aesthetics!

Step 3: I tied the two hoops together with floral wire.

Step 4: I used E6000 adhesive glue inside of the beads to hold the ring and beads together!

Step 5: Let it dry!!

Step 6: Pick out your floral arrangement and lay it on the beads to make sure you like it before you tie with wire and hot glue them.

Step 7: Tie the stems to the beaded ring, hot glue the parts of the flower stem

Step 8: Let dry overnight and look how awesome your wreath is in the morning!!!
